Why I built this
My wife and I have an autistic son. During times where he was struggling, we would find ourselves in hard days without really understanding them, looking back on what triggered a meltdown, or why a good week suddenly turned difficult, mostly from memory and guesswork, it was tough to get a good perspective because we were so close to the problem, tired and overstimulated ourselves.
What changed things for us was stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. So logging events, behavior, food, and sleep day by day it helped get a decent picture and quiet down that thought in the back of our minds that we were missing something. That insight helped us support him better and helped us to have more perspective on the tough days, proof that progress was happening, even when it didn't feel like it at the time.
Intuitus grew out of that. It's the tool I wish we'd had from the start, and I hope it helps your family the way it's helped ours.
If you're raising an autistic child, you already know the feelings and the ups and downs that come with it. When they struggle or have a regression you have loads of questions and doubts.
Was it the noise at the store? Something they ate? A change in routine?
In the moment, it's almost impossible to tell. But zoom out over a few weeks, and patterns can start to appear. They are easy to miss day-to-day but incredibly useful once you see them.
Intuitus was built to help you see them sooner.
How do I track my autistic child's behavior?
Consistency matters more than complexity. Intuitus lets you log events, daily behavior, and context like food or sleep in just a few taps a day, the goal is something you can actually keep up with, not a perfect record.
What should I bring to my child's therapist or pediatrician?
A PDF export from Intuitus gives you a clear, organized summary of events and patterns over time, much easier for a professional to work with than trying to recall things from memory during a short appointment.
Why does tracking behavior over time actually help?
Day-to-day, it's hard to separate a one-off bad day from a real pattern. Looking at data over weeks or months makes triggers, progress, and trends far easier to spot, for you and for the professionals supporting your child.
Is Intuitus free?
Yes the core tracking features are free. A small Pro upgrade ($1.99) unlocks additional features like weather-context logging and full daily overviews and the report generation.
